Cape May Warbler, Setophaga
tigrina: Ottawa
NWR
I photographed this Cape May Warbler about a
week ago while photographing Neotropical migrants at Magee Marsh, Ohio. Migrants typically stop at Magee to feed and
rest before flying over Lake Erie. This
particular bird was feeding on willow catkins at Turtle Creek, part of Ottawa
NWR.

Note the pollen of the willow catkins on the upper mandible of the warbler.
