Today I learned of the
passing of Fred Bodsworth (93years old), Canadian author of “Last of the Curlews,” a fictionalized account of the last pair of Eskimo
Curlews. I had the pleasure of
meeting Fred in 2006 at Pelee Wings, Point Pelee, Canada. The following link to the Pelee Wings
