Pine Warbler, Setophaga pinus:  Horse Cove; Gurley, Alabama
I shot this beautiful Pine Warbler at my bark butter feeder a couple of day ago.  Pine Warblers are regulars at my feeders.  If they are not eating bark butter or suet, they are on the sunflower seed feeders. They are a common nester around the house and I have them year round.

Pic of the Day

Pine Warbler, Dndroica pinus:  Magee Marsh, Ohio
A beautiful male Pine Warbler shot at Magee Marsh while I was there to see the migrating neotropicals.  Pine Warblers are early migrants and came through Magee in larger numbers around on Sunday the 4th of May.  Pine Warblers are year round residents and nest in my backyard.  They are very vociferous in the spring and love to eat "bark butter" from my woodpecker feeders.  They also provides great photo opps (below).
