Indigo Bunting, Passerina cyanea: Horse Cove; Gurley, Alabama
I shot this Indigo Bunting at my feeders this afternoon. This bird and its mate have been visiting my feeders for a couple of weeks now. I have
been eager to get photos but I have not had time until this afternoon. I
put a branch in just the right place and the bunting landed on it numerous
times. However, as soon as it alighted on the branch it hopped to the
ground to feed on millet. After numerous tries I finally got this image.

...gorgeous blue.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly. I've got a blue grosbeak coming to the feeders also. I'm trying to get a shot of him as well. Thanks for your comments. Bobby
