Little Blue Heron – Viera Wetlands; Viera, Florida: While shooting the white ibis (see post for January 28th) of the previous post, this little blue heron flew to an adjacent snag and landed. I shot two images of the ibis before it flew, and then turned to shoot the little blue. I only got two shots, before it too took to the wing. Everything happened very fast.
I know I have mentioned this before, but the Viera Wetlands is an ideal location to shoot. There are active birds there most all the time that provide great shooting opportunities. If you’re a bird photographer, you must make this stop a priority.
