Pic of the Day

Indigo Bunting, Passerina cyanea: Horse Cove, near Gurley, Alabama
Last spring, for the first time in over 30 years, I had an Indigo Bunting as a regular at my bird feeders.  I spent a lot of time in the blind and got this image last May.  Today at 9:50 a.m.,  an  indigo appeared at my feeders.  I hope it is the same one, and will grace my feeders for the rest of the summer.   The blind is already up and I will be making attempts to get more (hopefully better) photos this spring.  By the way, I still have a ton of Pine Siskins.
