Black Skimmers, Rynchops niger -- Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, Florida: This flock of black skimmers was shot on another morning than the skimmer in the previous post. The morning sunrise was beautiful, but by the time the skimmers took flight the sun was obsured by a light cloud cover in the east. The soft light worked well with the image.
